    Azure Storage File Access security issue on AD joined windows - Failed to enumerate objects...


    This question belongs to those who implemented or Enabled Local Active Directory SMB Authentication for Azure files on the om-prem environment!I'm trying to change the permissions of one folder to make it "read-only access" for authenticated or domain users. When I try to change the permission from the advance settings or when I try to disable the inheritance, the system throws the error: "Error Applying Security - An error occurred while applying security information to Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied." Any ideas on how to fix it?

    failed to enumerate objects in container, access is denied

    I've gone through the steps that are supposed to allow me to delete a folder but when I get to this step:

    Azure Storage File Access security issue on AD joined windows - Failed to enumerate objects... [​IMG]

    The box at the top does not appear on my screen just the one at the bottom. Clicking the bottom box and continuing does not give me the permission I need to delete the folder. What else can I try? Thanks.

    When I get to step 3 is when the "Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access denied" message and can not go on from there. Help!

    "Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied" on Windows 10.

    Hi,



    The above issue might have occurred due to certain folders inaccessible or made changes to by the Trusted installer on the computer. Changes should not be made to some of the files and folders located in
    C: drive as they help in maintaining system performance.



    Before we assist, when exactly are you getting “Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied” error message?
