Windows 10: "b" key doesn't work anymore in my profile, BUT it works just fine in other...

I've had an odd issue for the past month or so, that is that the lower case letter "b" key on my keyboard no longer works (I have to copy/paste the letter b every time I want to use it), BUT the upper case letter "B" works just fine.

Below is a list of all the things I've tried to fix the issue, all to no avail.

• Restarted my PC, no change.
• Tried the Keyboard in every USB slot on my PC, no change.
• I can hot-swap the switches on my keyboard (GMMK) so I thought "prolly just a buggy switch" so I switched it to a new one, and another and another, after 10 switches still the same issue so that's not it.
• Tried a different keyboard, no change
• Tried my original and 2nd keyboard on my Wife's computer. b key works just fine on here.
• Deleted & Reinstalled the drivers for the keyboard more than once, no change.
• Should have tried this earlier but forgot about it till then. So I tried the b key on the windows virtual keyboard and the lower case b does work for it's word search feature along the top, but as far as typing nope doesn't work. Uppercase B does work.
• Create a new Windows User Profile and tested the b key in that profile and it works fine! So it must be an issue with my profile?
• I downloaded a keyboard testing app called "Keyboard Test" by Passmark. It gave the same results, that is when I press the "b" key it doesn't register anything, but when I press the "B" key the app registers the key press.
• I thought maybe I got some weird troll virus or malware? So I started googling the issue and found that you can edit key-mappings in the registry. There are several apps that will do this for you (Keytweak, Sharpkeys) Downloaded and installed both apps, tried mapping "b" to "b" but neither worked. Though both let me map the "b" key to open the "Calculator" and other windows functions, even other letters.
• I then looked into how to edit the registry manually to see if I could find a file maliciously inserted into the reg but found no "scancode map" entry.
• I made my own "scancode map" entry following online tutorials to try and map "b" to "b", restarting my PC each time, but still no change.

So at this point I'm a bit stumped as what to do next. I can move over to the new profile and slowly customize it to match my original/old profile but I'm also stubborn and would like to figure this out and fix it.

Anyone ever experience anything like this, and if so were you able to fix it?

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"

Is there a workaround for that?

Re-install the TWAIN drivers? (They are not included in Windows.)

You might get a better answer if you gave the make and model of the scanner.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
