Windows 10: Back of PC ports not working for earphones

The front of my earphone port has an inside stuck earphone jack, meaning I cannot get it out even after many online attempts. I have since got new earphones and plugged them into the back of the PC ports for the green one output, yet it doesn't register on the PC as connected t doesn't show in the sound icon. Why is this happening and how could I fix it without destroying the front of my PC trying to get rid of the broken earphone jack stuck inside?

Earphone mic not being detected

Maybe as a work around you could use a Y spliter. Where you plug in your headphones into it and the other ends will go in your mic and earphone ports on your pc/laptop. Yes i understand they are combo ports but i'm just suggesting this as a workaround till you can find drivers that makes the combo port work correctly.
Here is the cable i was talking about. You don't have to use it but just a suggestion as a workaround and as a last resort.

Earphones not working

Recently received my Windows 7 / Samsung Focus phone. All setup and syncing music and even adding NetFlix with no problems. However, when I plug in the earphones...the sound continues to come from the phone speaker. The earphones
do not have any sound output to them. I'm trying to figure out if this is a hardware issue or if there is something that I haven't found yet related to enabling the earphones.

Any Suggestions?

 

earphones usb-c wont work on pc

i cant get to let my earphones work properly on my pc .. the port works well on all other platforms but i cant hear a thing on my earphones ... i installed the latest drivers from intel since they provide usb-c thunderbolt drivers .. when i get plug them
power indicator is lighted so i assume the port is working normally ... w8ing for a response ty
