  2. Windows 10 issue with typing and drop downs

I had the same exact issue after upgrading from Win7 to Win10. Spent many hours online looking for a solution. Tried the ones listed above. No luck.

What's the point of having a new shiny OS when you can't type anything Back to Windows 10 :) My daughter was so mad after the upgrade since she couldn't do her homework anymore on the laptop.

This morning I reverted to . It was so easy to go , just one click and after 5mins you are . That's the only silver lining, the only good thing Microsoft had thought about while coming up with Win10. It's such a relief
now. I can finally type.. woo hoo...

Adios Win10. See you later or NOT.

  3. Windows Task Bar unresponsive

Reverting back to 7 is not possible, who would of guessed? God damn wheres the **** support for this ****!

I have also tried to use an Ethernet cable to connect to the internet and the same or similar problems arise (not being able to access the flashing or none flashing taskbar with along with the windows associated programs). I suppose the direction windows
is going, that internet is just a useless thing of the past??

Windows 11 or "9" must be the answer to the inbred thinking to windows 10. AWFUL COMPANY AND PRODUCT! thanks for the damn support Back to Windows 10 ;) i feel appreciated as a customer.

Use the recovery function of whatever backup program you used to recover the image back to the hard drive.

A problem may exist in that the various versions of Linux [about 250 or so] use a different formatting of their partition and Windows may not be able to deal with it. With that in mind I'd download gparted.iso and create the bootable CD, boot to it and check the main partition formatting, may have to either reformat it to NTFS or delete and let the Windows Factory Restore do its thing. Some OEMs had a small program to run the repair but may need Windows running first and some OEMs had a process where it could be run at boot up, a key combination to start it.
