    I got this background autoupdate website naij.com on my latop, i tried everything but coudt find it n to be honest its very irritating popup all the time, i never download it.

    can anyone help me, i really want to remove it. screenshot

    I don't want notifications

    I don't understand. If blocking the background task doesn't prevent the task from running in the background, then what does it do? If the app isn't running, then how is it generating notifications?

    Revamp the Push Notifications System on WP7.5

    I am sure that all those having WP 7.5 must have encountered the annoying working of push notifications from whatsapp or hike or wechat or skype.

    When you open the whatsapp or any other app and check your messages then send the app to background by directly presing windows button on your phone that's where the error arises. Now the app is in background and you get a push notification of a new message.
    Tapping on the push notification opens the app from start!!!

    Whats the point then sending the app to background? The app should be working in background and after tapping on push notification the already opened instance of app should work not a new one.

    Kindly vote to get the attention of dumb engineers of MICROSOFT...
