Windows 10: Background Apps -- Which One's Should I have Turned On?

Discus and support Background Apps -- Which One's Should I have Turned On? in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I am trying to speed up my computer.     Background Apps -- Which One's Should I have Turned On?


    I am trying to speed up my computer. To that extent, I want to turn off as many background apps as I can. Obviously, though, I can't turn them all off. So I am wondering, which background apps are 'crucial'.

    My particular uses are rather limited -- Programming (vscode), email, occasional use of the calculator and a good deal of online work.

    Right now, I just have Alarms & Clock and Mail & Calendar turned on. I am wondering, though, about Intel Graphics Control Panel and the Calculator. Is there any advantage or benefit to having them on?

    Also, are there any other apps that are worthwhile having run in the background?

    Turn On or Off Background Apps in Windows 10  


    It works here too! I also noticed, turning on/off and opening Background Apps is not necessary.
    Just "Reset" any or all WinApps (one by one) and then you can find them under "Background Apps" list.

    PS: Turning Off "Background Apps", cannot affect Edge.
