    Whenever i make a screenshot, something i use a lot for my job, the background now always becomes grey instead of the white color that it always was before. This is pretty anoying, as you wil always see difference in the color of the screenshot background, and the white background of where you paste the screenshot. The same thing happened in my Sketchup software. The background was always white, but now has the same grey color as when i make a screenshot. I have a feeling that this occured, from the moment i executed the AMD Adrenaline edition. Notice the image for the grey color. Can anyone h

    Make Windows Explorer background dark grey or black

    Quizo's Qttabbar (free) lets you set different colours in different areas of file explorer - and thus also affects some parts of Control Panel windows (also implemented by file explorer).

    No way to do that directly in Windows. You could try high contrast themes.

    How to make screenshot of the start menu?

    I want to take a screenshot of the start menu. This is my procedure:

    1. Open "SnippingTool"
    2. Set a delay, say, 5 seconds
    3. Click "New"
    4. Click Windows key, so that the start menu pop up
    5. 5 seconds times out and (hopefully) I can start making the screenshot.
    However, after the fifth step, the start menu is still editable. While I expect it to be masked by a translucent white indicating I can make screenshot over it, it's not the case. In fact, I must click somewhere to enable screenshot on start menu. Is there
    any better/straightforward way to make screenshot of the start menu? Thanks!

    Hi, here's my explorer.

    And here's a hint as to how to access qttabbar's options. Rt click on the tab bar in explorer (where the tabs appear).
    Note: you will probably need to enable the qttabbar toolbar in explorer to see it.
