Windows 10: Background layer in MS Paint since latest update is blank

Since the latest update to MS Paint, cutting, deleting, or moving part of an image now leaves a blank space with a grey checkerboard pattern rather than the secondary/background colour. Is there a way to set it to the way it was before?

Does the latest version of Fresh Paint support layers please?

 

My paint no transparent layer

Why ms paint has no transparent layer? And only can be saved as png without transparent? And in the next version we have now a transparent layer?

 

Using Paint to Write Yellon on a Black Background

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it help.

  Open Paint.
  
• 
  Under Home Tab, Click on Fill with color.
  
• 
  Select the black color, and now click on blank page below.
  
• 
  Now the background will be in black color.
  
• 
  Select Brushes under Home tab and select yellow color.
  
• 
  Then you will be able to write word and Figures in yellow color.
