background picture in my windows 11 laptop becoming black very frequently.. Not once or twice.. Several times.. What i can do to resolve this

Sorry for the delay in response



I would suggest you to try the following steps:

• 
  Open Desktop Background by right clicking on the desktop clicking Personalization
  
• 
  Click the picture or color that you want to use for your desktop background.
  
• 
  If the picture you want to use isn't in the list of desktop background pictures, click an item in the Picture location list to see other categories, or click Browse to search for the picture on your computer.
  When you find the picture that you want, double-click it. It will become your desktop background.

Desktop background gone black after a few minutes of use on laptop.

• Did you get any error messages or error codes?

In the meantime, we suggest that you try to check if the "Show Windows Background" option is turned on. Follow the steps below:

• Open Settings in the Start menu.
• Go to Ease of Access, then on the left side, click
  Other options.
• Turn on Show Windows Background and check if it works.

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the make and model of the PC?
  
• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  

If you are using Windows 10, then perform these steps to bring back the background picture.

1. Press Windows + I key from the keyboard to launch
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization and select
   Background from the left pane.
   
3. Now on the right side under Background change the option to
   Pictures or Slideshow.

Note: After changing the Background to Pictures or Slideshow, then click on Browse and choose the picture.
