Windows 10: Background Watermark?

Hello guys!

We’re currently upgrade the whole company and rethink our infrastructure at the company including some new guidelines since we got a new CEO.

One day he came with the idea to set a watermark for our employees since in this time there are a lot of meetings with screen sharing and also with customers. Today I finally want to set this todo as completed.

Is there any way to set a watermark for the windows background wich is not related to the actual background? I don’t want to disallow the changing of the background. That would be really bad for our creative employees.

I already heard of an option where you can activate the “windows insider build” text at the bottom and change the text but this could get removed or faulty on windows updates. It’s also not the perfect solution since you can’t add images.

Your drawing sucks. *Laugh :laugh:

But well, yeah, a slightly smaller watermark would do. Although you should still be able to place it at least, and not just be at the bottom like your suggestion.

 

Watermark Question

I need to extract a watermark image from a PDF file.
This is nothing illegal ... I don't want to remove the watermark from the document, I just want a copy of it because the original artwork used to create the watermark was lost.

I'm actually not even sure it it's a true "watermark" or just a lightened background image, as I don't have any experience with PDF creation (other than "Save as PDF").

Any thoughts on how to do this?

 

Watermark

Step 1:
Open Paint. Click the Paint button in the top-left corner of the workspace. Click "Open." Browse to and double-click the picture that you want to watermark. The image appears on the Paint canvas.

Step 2:
Click one of the colored squares in the "Colors" section of the toolbar. Choose black, gray, white or another color that will stand out from the colors of the picture.

Step 3:
Click the text icon, which looks like an "A," in the "Tools" section. Click the part of the image on which you want to place the watermark. Choose a font and text size.

Step 4:
Type the text of the watermark into the text box. Common watermarks include "Copyright," "Property of..." and the date.

Step 5:
Resize and reposition the text box to stretch across the picture by grabbing the top-left corner and pulling it into place.

Step 6:
Click the paint button again. Click "Save As." Type a new name for the picture -- so as not to overwrite the original -- and click the "Save" button.

Note: You can also choose the transparent or opaque option from paint toolbar on the top-middle during text editing/writing.
