Windows 10: Background Windows Dim

Hello all!Ok so here's the thing, there is this windows 10 feature that allows you to "focus" on one window at a time, and dims the background windows. An example would be, I have 3 windows open and none of them are full screen. I click on one window, and the rest of the background windows dim in order to bring optimal focus to the currently active window - kind of like a video, movie theatre, focus setting. The problem is, I turned on this feature, and now cannot find how to turn it off, nor know the name of it. I'm sure I'm overlooking where I need to go but yet here we are. If anyone could

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows Logo Key + I. Then click on Personalization.
• Click on Background to change it.

We understand that you don't want some apps to run on the background of your computer. What we suggest is to
control which apps are allowed to run in the background. To see which apps have permission, just follow the below steps:

• Open the Start menu or Start screen and select “Settings.”
• Click or tap the “Privacy” icon in the Settings.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the list and select “Background apps.”
  
• You’ll see a list of apps that have permission to run in the background with an “On/Off” toggle.

Just bear in mind that, apps normally run in the background to update their live tiles, download new data, and receive notifications. If you want an app to continue performing these functions, you should allow it to continue running in
the background.
