Windows 10: Backing up emails and separating school OneDrive account from personal OneDrive account.

I have a school Microsoft356 account and a private OneDrive account. The two work seamlessly to the point I am finding it difficult to separate the two. On my pc the OneDrive folder holds the data I believe to be in my in my personal OneDrive account but I can not be sure. My school account will soon be closing. How do backup my mail content Outlook from the school account to my private account? How do I confirm that my OneDrive data is in my personal account and will not be deleted with the closing of my school account?Thank you

Microsoft OneDrive and Account Transition from School to Personal

I have been having difficulty with my OneDrive Account and other computer issues. My previous account was linked to a school account and assumed that account restrictions from that account may be causing the problems. I have been working on transitioning
things to a different email address and making my OneDrive a personal account. While adding my new email address and removing the old I have run into some difficulties including some aspects of the account still linked to the old account and not allowing me
to add the new, as well as, the OneDrive account not allowing me to transition from a school account to a personal account. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Please follow the steps to contact OneDrive support for further assistance on adding personal account to OneDrive.

1. Login to OneDrive.com.
2. Click the ? Help icon on the top banner of the page.
3. Select Email OneDrive support for the further assistance.

Can't add personal account to onedrive!!!

Yes. It is defaulting to my work email which worked, but I don't want to connect my work account. So I disconnected my work email/account from any and all services on my pc. But still, when it askes me to sign in to my onedrive account, and I try to sign
in with my personal account, it displays the message: "This doesn't look like a work or school email. You can't sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead." I mean how complicated can this be? I just want to sign in to onedrive
with my personal account!
