Windows 10: Backing up Folder to SD drive from C:/

When I do a backup of a folder that I updated, the entire folder is being transferred as a copy. This never used to happen. Previously only the new files would transfer to the pre-existing backup folder. I would be prompted to only include new files and the backup would get updated. I think a recent Windows update changed this and I want to restore the old setting. Thank you.

How do I move photos from the my photo app to the pictures folder on the C drive?

  Open Photo App.
  
• 
  Select the photo and right click on the photo.
  
• 
  Select Open Folder.
  
• 
  From there you will be able to copy all the photos to C: drive

MS Surface 32GB = 16GB

Apps CAN access the SD Slot.. it just takes a few extra steps.

In my surface i have a 32GB SD Card, went into disk management and mounted it to a folder i created on the C: Drive.. Problem solved.

• 
  Right click on C: drive.
  
• 
  Select Sharing Tab.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced Sharing.
  
• 
  Uncheck “Share this folder”.
