Windows 10: Backing up not there/gone wrong?

Complex Context:I had to reset but keep the personal files on my PC because it was getting broken my OS. After resetting I wanted to back up the fresh reset with the few programs I always install VPN, Chrome etc.. I backed up using my spare 1tb hardrive as I used a 500gb ssd as my main storage. There were already a few files on the hardrive, up to around 100gb, which fine because I put them there incase my ssd is corrupted. However after it still said there where only 400gb of free space left, meaning that there was around 500 gb of my previous back up. The problem is, I tried to access or

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

How to change my home page back.

I don't think you are. I just did those steps on mine. Changed from Google to Bing, click Home button and it went to Bing. Changed it back to Google, click Home and it went to Google. Norton must have something jammed in there like a fishhook. I don't do Norton, so you're back to Josey's suggestions.

If want to disable IE, still can. However, can't uninstall it like were able to in XP/98/whatever.
Here's how, although I find it useful in case Chrome or Firefox stops working and have to re-download it. *Wink
1. Search for turn windows features on or off and click it in the search results.

2. When the app opens, uncheck Internet Explorer 11.
