  1. Backing up OneDrive cloud-to-cloud

I would like to make a backup of our OneDrive storage 3TB to "somewhere else". To be clear, I want to backup our files which are already all on the OneDrive cloud, not the local copies which at any one time only represent a partial version of what's on the cloud as we use the files-on-demand feature to only download files when they're required. How can this be done in the cloud? I do not want to first download all files from our OneDrive storage and then have to upload it all to another cloud, or backup locally on external storage. I also don't want to just "double up" on cloud storage, sim

    OneDrive and "the cloud".

If OneDrive and "the cloud" are synonymous, does this mean that when I do a full image backup to an external drive ((Macrium Reflect) the OneDrive folder on my pc will not be backed-up becase it is not on the pc really but "in the Cloud" on a Microsoft
server or somewhere? Thanks for any info.

  3. How to Transfer Files Cloud to cloud

Hi James. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

You can install both on the same PC and simply copy them over from the source cloud Explorer folder to OneDrive Explorer folder.

Otherwise you can download them from the source cloud's website to your OneDrive folder.

Whichever you choose I would do them in pieces of whichever size that copies the smoothest.

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.

  4. Backing up OneDrive cloud-to-cloud

I have some folders that won't back up to the cloud

    Hello,Nathan Gibson2

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

Understanding that you are having issues with some folders not being backed up to the cloud, I would like to confirm the current situation with you for further analysis:

    • Is the cloud storage software you are using OneDrive or somewhere else?
    • Are there any error messages or for example freezing or failing alerts for the failed backups you mentioned?

Looking forward to your reply, which will determine our next steps.
