    Backlit Keyboard Custom Brightness


    Hello,


    I wanted to ask that if there is an option to change your Backlit Keyboard Brightness. Function keys change the Backlit Brightness to only either 0%, 50% or 100%. I needed to have a different brightness like 20% since it is not too dim nor too bright for me at the given place. Is there a way I could change my Backlit Keyboard brightness to something like that either using Windows 10 settings or 3rd party programs? For example, in macOS you can change your keyboard brightness percentage to a multiple of 10 like 10%, 20%, 70% etc.

    Step one of your instructions resolved the backlite issue. One driver update was found, and BIOS was updated from v1.3.2 to v1.3.3. Upon reboot the keyboard functions as expected.

    Hi Geoff

    Try the F7 or Fn + F7 key on your Surface Pro, usually you have to press it a few times to turn off the backlit keyboard (increments of 25% brightness)
