Windows 10: backup error 0x81000001 what do I do?

trying to backup my computer to a external hard drive. It is 5 TB. Why do I keep getting an error message 0x81000001?

I ran another backup with those options unchecked but, it resulted in the same error code again. (0x81000001)

I guess no one has the fix for the error 0x81000001. Windows Backup is an outdated technology, and its documentation is very poor. If you can't switch to a different backup app (e.g., Macrium Reflect, Robocopy, or some other tool) for some reason, here's some thing you can try.

Inspect the logs in this folder:

Note: If it contains some ETL files, you can extract them by running "tracerpt <filename.etl>"
