Windows 10: Backup iPhone text message

Hi all, this scumbag Coronavirus took my brother from me on Wednesday night. I guess I was lucky in that I was able to converse via text message during the previous days and as I'm sure you can imagine, I would be crushed if I lost these messages. Is there anything available that could make a copy of them?

Cortana, iPhone and Text messaging

No, you do not have this correct.

When I sent a text message with Cortana on my desktop, it sent it through my secondary Windows phone.

I want it to send text messages using my iPhone number.

I understand this feature is working with Cortana with Android. Is it possible to make it work with Cortana for iOS.

Many applications on the iPhone use my Microsoft Account. Therefore it would make sense that I should see the iPhone on the device list even if it is not a Microsoft product.

 

Text message backup

Whenever I open the messaging settings, I come across one thing that the text message backup option is inaccessible; reason being that it is always showing synchronising no matter how long I wait. Also the status of "text message backup" is turned off.
Can anyone please suggest something?

Great!

Knowing I have all my backups covered (except my App's, which as I understand cannot be backed up), I can now reset my Lumia 925 phone to see if all the glitches get corrected. If not, I'll need a new phone.

Any further suggestions would be welcomed.
