Windows 10: Backup of selected files & folders

Is there a way, or a tool, that can copy files/subfolders from folder A to folder B but only copy files which already exist in B? So, for each files/folder in A, copy it IF it already exists in B AND the version in A has a last modified date more recent than B? So we don't copy those that don't exist in both A & B and we don't copy if the version in B has the same or older modified date.

Firefox. Copy select folders from desktop to laptop

1. Backup your bookmarks
2. Delete all the bookmark folders that you do NOT want to be exported to the other computer (in the Library window, you can use the Del key for this purpose)
3. Export your bookmarks to HTML
4. Restore your backup from Step 1
5. On the other computer, import from the HTML file from Step 3
6. Done.

 

Backup Using File History keeps reverting to previous folder selection

I recently installed Windows 10 and decided to use Backup Using File History
(accessed via Settings/Update &Security/Backup) instead of my normal method
(via Control Panel/Backup and Restore) to do backups.

In Backup using File History there was a default list of folders which I could change. I made the necessary changes, ran the backup and it worked fine. But, when I next went into Settings I found that the list had reverted to the default list.

How can I stop Windows changing my folder selection?

 

Steam backups?

I just backed up all my steam games to my storage drive... my steam folder is around 80GB, but my backup is only 56GB. I did select every game in the list. Does it back up in a compressed format?
