    Backup Software solutions to frequently backup a single folder


    I have a remote weather station and a Windows 11 machine which runs the Weather station software and nothing else.I need a backup solution which will only backup the weather station data folder, and which will do it every 30 minutes in an incremental backup manner. If the machine fails, I would just reinstall windows with no need for any additional backup.I have not found a solution which will do this reliably to an external drive purposed for the backup.Also interested in the ease of the restore process. I have been disappointed in the past with backup solutions which describe how easy backu

    ...If you want to keep a backup of your whole PC in case something goes terribly wrong, then Acronis Image is best, if you want software to backup files and folders for easy access when you mistakenly delete something or misplace a file, then OopsBackup is best...i use them both.

    Acronis is about E50 / $60, OopsBackup is about E29 / $36

    ...acronis is more for businesses, oops for home users...

    Free software for backup

    No, synkron it is not good(I can use dropbox too for that), because I need to make on each backup a new folder, also from security point of view, I will not use ''cloud'' solutions...

    Hey guys,

    Anyone know of easy-to-use backup software?

    Ive got an external hard drive (which I am hoping to plug straight into the router when I get the cable, so the software has to be network compatible), and I want to save a couple of folders on there weekly (like set up a schedule). Id prefer it to be incremental, so it doesnt take ages every time it is scheduled to run.

    Also, I'd like the files to be saved as they are, as in, the folder is simply copied onto the hard disk. Ive got Norton Ghost, but its pretty laggy and saves the backup in its specialised format.

    Does software like that actually exist *Stick Out Tongue Backup Software solutions to frequently backup a single folder :p?
