Windows 10: Bad case of Windows recovery

Hello world,


My daughter has a Windows 10 Home (64) computer that probably has a virus.

I would like to recover it by reinstalling windows. I have made some attempts with no luck, and now I could really do with some support.



This I have tried:

1. I do get the error that there was an error resetting my computer2. I can run reagentc /disable reagentc /enable without errors but when I try to reset I get the same error

3. I can do an advanced restart getting into command menu. I can run the wmic command, but when I run the sfc command it starts but ends with error.

4. I have used Windows 10 media creation tool to create an USB and a DVD. However it seems like the bios is locked. I have tried <del>, <f2> to enter the bios to change boot sequence, but I have not succeeded. GEEE!

5. I have installed Malware bytes and run. No findings.

6. I have installed Malicious Software Removal Tool from Microsoft and run it. https://www.microsoft.com/sv-se/download/malicious-software-removal-tool-details.aspx. It fails without error code. When I check mrt.log under %systemroot%\debug it says that the scan was completed without findings.7. With the Windows 10 DVD I have started a new installation from Windows. It starts up, gets updates, but then it "Controls if installation can start" forever.


Please, any advise?

Data Recovery for Mac (OSX Capitan) ?

Anybody knows of a good data recovery software for mac? Preferably free?

I use Active@ Data Recovery for Windows, but honestly no idea what to use for Mac OSX.

Any suggestions?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
