Windows 10: Bad Defintion Update With Windows 7 32Bit with Avast

Bad Defintion update released by Avast over night (fix already done, should be released shortly) Affecting Windows 7 32bit and possibly Windows 7 64bit, nothing confirmed there though at this time from there forum

Just thought i'd let folks know in this forum in case someone is running Avast with Windows 7 and suffering BSOD's

(FIXED), should have fixed vps file out now

Windows Defender doesn´t load in Windows 10 startup and run slowwwwly

After updated the Windows 7 to 10 and error in avast (loaded very slowly Chrome. , f.ex.), i was uninstall the avast and used the Windows Defender (native of Windows) to protect against virus, malware and others bad things. But, the system runs more
quickly, and the Windows defender runs slooowwwwly; the rapld (quick) verification run slowly, 11.000 files in 9 hours (???????). Is correct? In Windows 7 the same process run quickly and the process take a 2 hours, maximum. Now, the windows defender´s icon
doesn´t show in taskbar, and i can´t ideia if the program is full loaded.

Switching-off the phone is too easy and uncontrolled!

This is bad design by HTC: power button should not be that easy to press.

Anyway a good solution by MS would be
not to allow poweroff while the screen is blocked/suspended, which would defintely make sense.

Unfortunately there seems to be no option like that to set right now.

 

I had BSOD on 10 Pro x64 at that time. I think I will give WD another chance, it seems pretty solid in CU.

 

I've seen a few that had this issue, in case others still have the issue simply manually check in Avast for updates *Smile
