Yes, when I changed my motherboard, RAM and CPU (basically upgraded to Skylake Platform from old platform), I had installed windows cleanly with brand new SSD

Please try some other VRAM tests
    Hardware Diagnostics

  3. Hi, I could download only one of the VRAM tests, which did not run completely ! do you have any other program suggestions?

I got another BAD POOL HEADER BSOD while I left my PC to render videos overnight ! I will send you minidump files today evening or in afternoon

meanwhile I have come across ASUS ROG Forums (my motherboard) that RAM version which is Corsair LPX is for X99 motherboard platforms and not Z170 socket, They are suggesting I should get another brand of RAM which is G Skill Trident Z version. unfortunately my return period on amazon ended two days ago *Sad while I have emailed Corsair tech team if they can confirm this fact about compatibility for their RAM with ASUS ROG Z170 motherboards

    What do you think?

Unfortunately not, the tests I linked in my last post are extra tests which I very rarely suggest.

What I think is, lets hear what Corsair has to say about it.
I usually don't check compatibility unless I have a feeling there is something that might cause problems, mainly for example when something new has recently been installed.

  5. Yeah, I will update you once I hear from them. I did raised same question on Amazon from where I bought this RAM sticks, and someone answered positively about its compatibility with my motherboard

Anyway, I really feel that there is some issue with SLI or Graphics card slot or new GPU (deference 980ti) or may be my rendering software ! I went home for lunch and restarting rendering with CPU only hope that it will completes it and also my software didn't allow me for hardware encoding/option greyed out. I have not got any errors while gaming even with SLI and in overclocked ! but I will do gaming again today in SLI and see if I get another error .....

  6. Hi

Corsair confirmed that LPX version which I have is fine with my motherboard

also, I think I have found the problem : CyberLink PowerDIrector 14 video editing and rendering software seems to have issues when I enable Hardware video encoding while rendering videos. It crashes with BSOD when video rendering is about 95%, but I render with CPU only, there are no such errors and rendering completes it just fine

I have attached minidump file for your analysis, please advise whether I should contact software tech support or its due to one of my GPUs (or SLI)

    Many thanks

    Prashant

Difficult to say for me, the crash is a 0x12B and it doesn't reveal very much.

    I mentioned
Is there anything done with this?

Please check in Google Chrome if hardware acceleration is enabled:

    • In the right upper corner, click on Attachment 69089 and choose settings.
    • Scroll below and click on 'advanced settings', scroll all the way to the end of the settings.
    • In the part 'system' is the option to enable/disable hardware acceleration.
    • If this option is enabled, disable it and let me know how it goes.

Hardware acceleration makes Google Chrome using hardware to execute some functionality faster then possible with software, this however could sometimes cause problems.

I've noticed some file system drivers re-occuring, please follow instructions below.
    Code: ffffd000`2a774ec8 fffff800`0904238c NTFS!NtfsMultipleAsync+0xac ffffd000`2a774ed8 fffff800`08471ff8 Wof!WofPostReadCallback+0x398 ffffd000`2a774f38 fffff800`09041b88 NTFS!NtfsNonCachedIo+0xd48 ffffd000`2a774f88 fffff800`07706366 FLTMGR!FltpPerformPostCallbacks+0x336[/quote]

    System File Check
    Please try following:
    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow says "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" after the second SFC, please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.
