Windows 10: bad system config info - instant bsod

Hi I accidentally unplugged my pc while it was running and now whenever I turn it on I get a instant bsod that says bad system config info.

what can I do to fix this without wiping my data?
I tried this https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/...ystem_config_info_bsod_windows_10_and_i_dont/ but it didn't seem to work. when I get to the "copy X:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack\DEFAULT X:\Windows\System32\config\" part it says something about cant find specified file or something like that

I added an extra space on that last one. Here it is again.

Hi John,

Thanks so much for your suggestion. Sadly, the fixes did not work, and I'm still getting "bad system config info."

MS support is still not honoring phone calls reserved in advance/promises to call back in a few minutes-- must say I'm disappointed.

Any further ideas?
