Windows 10: Bad_Pool_Caller

I have read quite a few "Bad_Pool_Caller" posts and none that I've read have been any help. It really is getting frustrating; as many as three times in a day. I've tried safe mode, but couldn't figure anything from that. In fact as I write here I'm expecting a crash. Jeez this really is a backward step. I don't remember windows 3 crashing like this with no explanation as to what is causing the crash. I have a Dell Studio 1747 laptop (six years old now). I installed a 240GB SSD drive a week or so ago. I can't remember if I had these BSOD's with the old drive. I've attached the suggested system file from previous posts. I notice ads to repair this problem, but hesitate to try them; any suggestions on that.

my computer crashes with Bad_pool_caller. please help

 

Blue Screen of Death on Lenovo Y70-70 Touch with different errors.

All errors (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, BAD_POOL_CALLER and DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION) appeared to be caused by the Netwbw02.sys.

 

The zip file only has one dump in it. It points to mwac.sys as the probable cause. This is part of Malwarebytes Anti-malware and is dated Tue Jun 17 22:07:00 2014.

Uninstall MBAM and see if that resolves your problem. If yes, you can try downloading and installing the latest MBAM here: Malwarebytes | Anti-Malware for your home and for your business

You have a Dell Studio 1747 laptop. According to the Dell web site they are not certifying this for Windows 10. There are only Vista and Win 7 drivers, not 8 or 10.

 

Thanks Rich I'll try that. I have Malwarebytes pro and no updates are available. I'll exit the program and see if that helps.
