Windows 10: Balance Left and Right channels for Bluetooth headphones on Windows 10 (Solution)

On this site and quite some other forums and sites I have seen that people are having issues controlling the left and right balance on their bluetooth headphones and I was having the same issue until I have found a solution just by accident.

So far I have seen no fix to this, but this has fixed it.


Note: After doing this, your headphones left and right channel can be controlled separately and they will have separate volume controls from Windows 10. The last one means that you can set your headphones' volume to the max using their buttons and set the volume in Windows 10 to low as they cannot be controlled together anymore.

Bluetooth headphones Left/Right Level Balance in Windows10..

just joined this forum.
i want to adjust my bluetooth headphones level balance slider move individually but when i slide one slider other automatically move with first one (image attached).
so is this possible to move slider individually..actually i want that sound comes only from right side and left side must be mute.

How to adjust left-right balance for headphones connected to pc with bluetooth

I have a pair of Bose qc35II headphones and I can connect them to my Windows 10 box via bluetooth.

When connected via bluetooth, if I try to correct the left-right balance by pressing the "Balance" button on the Levels tab of the Headphones Properties

the two sliders are locked together and moving one moves the other.

This problem does not happen when I connect the headphones to my PC with a wire.

It also does not happen when I connect the headphones to my cellphone via bluetooth.

Any suggestion about how I can adjust the right and left volumes when connected via bluetooth to my Windows 10 computer?

It is easy, you don't have to run anything or change anything to do it, just follow the steps and do it.

Still no solution to the headphones not showing up as a device.

This solution takes you right in Windows 10. Not sure why Windows couldn't do that easily.
