Windows 10: BAT file or script to add date of creation YYYY MM DD prefix to file name?

Hello,I'm looking for a bat file if possible or script or whatever is the fastest solution that will rename every file in a specific folder by adding a date of creation prefix in YYYY MM DD format.I need the date of creation not last modified and this specific date format because it's in accordance with how my company does things. I don't need the time and the rest of the name needs to remain the same.Example:File created on March 8 2022 named "IMG--ARGUMENT--TEST"will become "2022 03 08 IMG--ARGUMENT--TEST"If possible only the last 2 digits of the year "22 03 08 IMG--ARGUMENT--TEST" bu

Format of date - DD MM YYYY

People in the UK / Europe write dates in the format DD MM YYYY (rather than the way Americans do - MM DD YYYY). Would it be possible to have IE11 and Windows 10 enabled to show files in folders listed in the European way please? How can this be done?

Well actually it was only there in the Regional settings list as DD/MMM/YYYY format which gave months in the JAN/FEB etc format.

If you want the DD/MM/YYYY form you have to hand edit the option to DD/MM/YYYY format and it seems to work for all programs.

 

WIN10 1809 reseting my date format dd/MM/YYYY every date

I tried setting WIN10 the regional format like you suggested to English (USA) and edited the date format to dd/MM/yyyy, the date stayed in that format for a while, then Windows reseted the date back to default to that region, M/d/yyyy for USA. It is the
same if I set the regional format to English (Australia), in this case it will reset it to the default d/MM/yyyy although dd/MM/yyyy is on the option list for Australia.

When it was on 1803 version, Windows did not give me much problem with date format. I have been fighting this since I upgraded my Windows to 1809 release.
