Batch system Monitoring program for W10 --any out there

    Hi there
I know looking at Task manager gives the current activity of the machine but is there anything that will run in the background and write to a log which gives simple stats - CPU% memory etc

For example Linux has the top command which can write to a log and has decent info for later analysis too.

  2. Beeping noise after Windows 10 upgrade

Today I managed to find the reason for my beeping.

It was an USB connection to my UPS. There used to be a program from which I could monitor the UPS from the PC, but maybe it was not W10 compatible. After disconnecting the USB cable from the UPS, the beeping disappeared.

The only remaining task now is to find out if I can get that monitoring program back and get it to work with W10.

it hasn't been in the insider program since w10 came out.

the insider program is there to test the next version of the OS.

before w10 came out, it was used to test w10 and your device was included in the program.

once w10 was out and your device was not eligible, there would be no point in including it in the program, as the phone is not eligible for any w10 build, present or future.

go back to a supported OS version using the Windows Device Recovery Tool.

Have you tried the Windows Performance Monitor? It runs as a snap-in under MMC or it can be found under Windows Administrative Tools in the Start menu.
