Windows 10: Battery 0% remaining

Guys Hello I'm David and im using a laptop HP Notebook - 14-bs559tu and the battery of it was replaced with new just a year ago and it was having some issues as such Battery Error 601 and i fix by watching some youtube tech tips and how fixing it and this error was being like 5 times i fix by updating bios of it and what happening right now while typing on this is that my laptop battery icon is showing that i have a 0% remaining i search up and try running the trouble shooters but it didn't work i try updating the drivers of my battery but it was on latest version please guys can you help me :

Please try these suggestions:

1. Make sure date and time are correct in Windows 10 as well as in BIOS settings.

2. Reinstall Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under Device Manager with these steps

• Open Device Manager.
• Expand “Batteries” section.
• Right-click the “Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery” device and click “Uninstall.”
• Click the “Action” menu item and “Scan for Hardware Changes” to reinstall the driver.
• Close Device Manager.

3. Run Power troubleshooter from Settings app > Update & security > Troubleshoot

4. Update BIOS firmware to latest version.

5. If issue still persists, try replacing your battery with new one.

Battery saver remains On

The battery saver option remains on all the time. FollowsF all the steps that were provided here. But the battery saver remains on always even after trying to turn it off multiple times. Need help

Hi,

First of all I suggest you to try with a driver remove and reinstall with Device Manager. To do so:

1. Press WINDOWS + X

2. Click on "Device Manager"

3. Click on "Battery"

4. Right click on the first element on list

5. Click on "Remove"

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the second element on list

7. Click on "Detects Hardware change" (monitor icon)

Then reboot your system and check if the problem still exists.
