    Battery Calibration?


    Hey so my laptop is now saying I have to calibrate my battery. I do not know how to do this. Does it have to charge/discharge over night? How long should I keep it plugged in after it hits 100 and after it hits the point it turns off? Also do I have to turn off the battery savior function?

    Hi Antonio,

    As for your concern, what battery calibration are you referring to?

    It is normal for a battery to lose its original design capacity as time goes by with the charge and discharge cycle. Using any kind of software to do a battery calibration will not help you regain the lost battery capacity. However, you can run the built-in
    power troubleshooter. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • On the Start menu, type Troubleshooting.
    • Click View all.
    • Select Power and run the troubleshooter.

    NO SUCH OPTION EXIST IN WINDOWS 10 WHAT IS GUIDED HERE.
