Windows 10: Battery charging to 100% in less than 10 minutes and draining fast – Acer Aspire A715-51G...

Hello,I recently purchased a new Acer Aspire A715-51G laptop running Windows 11.The battery is new and the charger is original.The problem is that sometimes the battery charges from low percentage e.g. 20% to 100% in less than 10 to 15 minutes, which is abnormally fast. Then it discharges quickly as well — sometimes going from 100% to under 30% in less than an hour.At other times, the charging and battery life behave normally.I ran a battery report using powercfg /batteryreport, and the full charge capacity shows 51,582 mWh, while the design capacity is 53,015 mWh, which seems healthy.Could

Rapid Battery Drain and Fast Charging Issue on MSI Bravo 15 (Windows 11)

Thank you for the suggestion.

I do have the MSI Dragon Center utility installed on my laptop. I checked within the app and found the Battery Calibration option. I have run the battery calibration as recommended.

However, after running the calibration, the issue persists:

1. The battery still drains from 100% to 0% in approximately 9 minutes upon startup.
   
2. The battery still charges back to 100% very quickly when plugged in.
   

Is there any other step I should try, or could this indicate a deeper hardware issue? Any further advice would be greatly appreciated.

Battery draining very fast after recent windows 10 update

Hi All

My window 10 OS took around 2gb update one-month earlier and I notice that battery is draining very fast and it also do not charge upto 100%. After 80 to 90% its shows plugged in but not charging. Earlier battery backup was 3 to 4 hours which now hardly
40-45 minutes.

I saw resolution in other posts and have already tried through battery settings but things seems to be unresolved.

Please suggest something.
