Windows 10: Battery icon keeps disappearing in hp 15ay-511tx after every startup after updating to win...

After updating my windows 10 to v1803 ,the battery icon disappears from taskbar after every startup and is grayed out in settings . It appears after i disable and re-enable the battery drivers from device manager.But it doesn't seem to be one-time solution, i just have to keep doing it every time i boot into windows.Moreover startup takes much more time after the update and windows logo doesn't appear during boot. Windows login screen appears directly after hp logo and black screen for few seconds, no windows logo in between! Please help with my problem.

Windows 10 Battery Icon Keeps Disappearing!


Hi, I have used windows 10 since august and I just noticed that my battery icon on my laptop always disappears...I have tried ending explorer.exe on task manager and turning it on again which only temporarily solves it as once i shut down or restart, the battery icon is missing again.....This is getting very annoying! What can I do to keep it permanently on my notification tray?

 

Windows Update does it again: Disappearing Desktop Icons

Hello

After I updated a ton of security updates with care to only update the certain critical ones no anything else.


The hardcoded icons have disappeared during reboot, those icons that you drag out of start menu and it automatically creates it, and the network icon that you right-click in the start menu and select "show on desktop"

But there was also a freeze during the update process, when rebooted it re-do the stuff that it does at boot so i think it was fine , but the icon thing happend, it always has to be something.

I so hate the windows update, I haven't updated for half a year and now i did a manual careful update and I think i will never do it again for win7 EVER on this PC.

Icons keep disappearing after a certain period of days while several sessions passed. Let's say every 5 days or a week, 3 times now. I want to have my system stuff out like Control panel, add remove programs, all the sys stuff.

Tray icon disappears

I've been experiencing since the installation of Windows XP SP2 on multiple machines with the ATITool Tray Icon disappearing upon load at system startup. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. Enabling or Disabling the "Hide Inactive (tray) Icons" WinXP menu option doesn't have any effect. The only way to open ATITool after it has loaded is to go through the start menu to open it again. I have "minimize on close" selected in ATITool. When closing ATITool, you see it make the motions of minimizing to the tray area but no icon is displayed. Any ideas?
