Windows 10: Battery Icon Missing

I'm experiencing an issue with my laptop Acer Aspire 7750 running Windows 10 Pro. My battery icon has disappeared from the taskbar, and my laptop randomly shuts off as if the power was suddenly cut.Here’s what I’ve noticed:In Device Manager, only Microsoft AC Adapter is listed under Batteries. The Microsoft ACPI Control Method Battery is missing.In System Information, the cmbatt Microsoft ACPI Control Method Battery Driver is listed as Stopped, and I couldn’t restart it manually.Running powercfg /batteryreport resulted in an error: "Unable to perform operation. An unexpected error 0x10d2

Hi,

At times, you may notice that some of your desktop icons are missing or they may have just disappeared from your desktop just like your battery icon. To resolve this issue, you can follow these steps:

• Right click the Start button, then go to Device Manager.
• In the Device Manager, expand Batteries. Right-click on
  Microsoft AC Adapter entry and click Uninstall button. Click
  OK button when you see the warning message to continue uninstalling the driver.
• Next, click on Action menu and then click Scan for hardware changes option to restore the missing battery icon.

You can try the following procedures, If the Battery Icon Missing from Taskbar in Windows 10:

For this right click on taskbar, open 'settings'

Then, click on 'Select which icons appear on the taskbar' option

Then, make sure that the 'Power' icon is turned on.

Missing battery icon Windows 10

Hi,if You Found the Battery icon is Greyed out,then

Try this Steps...

• Login to Your PC.

• Go to run command,type gpedit.msc

• Under Userconfiguration,navigate to Administrative templates->Start menu and Taskbar.

• Scroll and Click "remove Battery meter icon"

• Click on it and Select disabled.

• Click on Apply,OK to Save Changes.

Now Again Check it on the Settings,You Will get back battery Meter.
