Windows 10: Battery is not detected on Windows 10

[COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1]I have an Acer Aspire E5-575 powered with Windows 10. Recently I have replace new HDD and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro 2004 version. After that I noticed there's a X icon shows in battery indicator. When I click it, it says [/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1]no battery is detected. [/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1]Now I can't use my laptop without plugging.[/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1] [/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1]I searched for the error in Acer support site and Internet. I noticed most of them say [/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1]uninstall Microsoft AC Adapter Driver and Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery Driver [/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1]as the solution. I have tried but it didn't work for me. Also I put [/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1]Windows update[/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1] too. But result is same. Also I saw they mention [/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1]update the BIOS drivers. [/COLOR][COLOR=rgba66, 66, 66, 1]So I browse for the drivers in Acer Support site. I saw there are many quantity of drivers available there. I don't know how to choose the matching driver for this error. So how can I fix this error?[/COLOR]

Battery not detected (Unknown remaining)

Hi,

First of all I suggest you to try with a driver remove and reinstall with Device Manager. To do so:

1. Press WINDOWS + X

2. Click on "Device Manager"

3. Click on "Battery"

4. Right click on the first element on list

5. Click on "Remove"

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the second element on list

7. Click on "Detects Hardware change" (monitor icon)

Then reboot your system and check if the problem still exists.

Please tell me if the solution works.

 

Battery not detected after upgrade to Windows 10

Clean 'Windows 10 Pro' install is detecting the only battery (Battery 1 as Battery 2: and shows

Battery 1: Not present

Battery 2: xx% and charging.

System seems to work OK and charging normal, maybe not an issue but 'Windows 7 Pro' shows batteries correctly. Will continue looking for a solution.

Chris F. H. suggestion works until reboot then Windows 10 incorrectly lists batteries again.

-Go to Device Manager (Win Key + x), select Device manager

-Expand the "Batteries" entry in the device list

-Right click, and then click "Uninstall" on each battery showing as installed.

-Right click again on "Batteries", and click "Scan for hardware changes."

 

No Battery Is Detected error on ASUS Laptop

My Asus battery says no battery is detected even after I followed these same steps. I have tried a lot of different ways but it still shows the same thing. What do I do?
