Windows 10: Battery Issue

Let me be clear and direct. I do not need a response that blames the manufacturer or the battery itself. This is not a hardware issue this is a software issue. If you answer this question regarding the batter do not give me any of that rhetoric as it is worthless. My battery is not charging after an Update. I went to load the saved version from before the update and the battery was charging once the update was started. Microsoft at the same time deleted files that causes a crash for the previous version of windows so I have to maintain the upgrade. In doing that the battery will not charge. I have deleted the drivers from Microsoft and reinstalled. The battery will then work until the drivers are reinstalled in the update. This is not an issue of the battery it is one of software please create a fix so that this issue is resolved and people can use their products.

Laptop battery issue

I'm pretty sure the E1505 has "speed step" on it. Double checkthe speed step settings to make sure they are set for long battery life, maybe it's somehow reset itself?

I did check it out and already had it disabled so enabled and still no battery showing up in the bios. I guess I'll be taking it apart

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
