Windows 10: Battery Management, USB Flash Drive Missing, USB Plugging Problems etc

I have following questions about Windows problems:1. Sometimes happens that my USB Flash Drive neither show up, nor is turned on when plugged to Windows. I know that it is problem of Windows since other USB Flash Drive sometimes behave the same way. My question is - As it's not shown up in Windows at all, and I turn off the PC then the USB Flash Drive won't get corrupted because of it, if I unplug it when Windows was turned off? Pointing out that the Flash Drive didn't show up on Windows or Unrecognized.2. Why in new PCs 11 generation of Intel there is no Advanced Options in Battery Manage

help. USB drive isn't assigned a drive letter.

Any usb flash drive I plug into my computer isn't assigned a drive letter. The physical drive shows in the "safely remove hardware" but it doesnt show up in disk management. I have tried to populate the volume thru the safely remove hardware properties window and it does pop up in the list but it doesn't stay there. This isn't a format or assign a letter problem. It's more complicated then that. Maybe one of the services needed for usb drive management was disabled? Suggestions needed. btw external usb harddrives work fine.

Looks like your system is unable to detect your external hard drive. Let's see if scanning for new hardware will fix the issue. Follow these steps:

Files inside exFAT formatted USB flash drive are missing.

Recently I bought a new 64GB USB flash drive from eBay. The files I saved inside the USB flash drive are missing once I plugged in to the PC. But the flash drive properties shows as the used space is almost 30GB. Is there any method to recover the missing
files? I've almost tried plugging the flash drive in a MacBook and a PC running Windows 7. But can't get the data inside that.
