Windows 10: Battery notification 0%

The battery in my laptop no longer holds a charge. I'm continuing to use it as my primary PC. It runs fine while plugged in. However, because the battery level reads 0%, I can't install a system update. It requires a minimum battery level. Is there any way to work around this?

• Open Settings app.
• Select System.
• Click on Notifications & actions tab.
• Scroll down and look for Battery Saver. Turn off the slider.
