Windows 10: Battery options not working also keyboard not dimming off automatically

So first of all I don't know what's going on I didn't mess with the back light settings at all. I was perfectly happy with they keyboard automatically dimming off when I wasn't using it, all of a sudden it stays on all the time. I don't want that



and second my PC keeps shutting down at 30 percent why? I definitely don't have the settings like that.. windows doesn't even notify me for sh!t that I have low battery. It use to. Now I don't know why it changed. I even went into the advanced power settings and down in the battery option I have all notifications on, low battery level is at 20%, critical battery is at 15%. but why does the PC shut down way before it even hits those number? Actually I don't even know if it hibernates or sleeps at that point, it doesn't matter anyways because I never set the PC to do anything when its at 30 percent

The battery icon might be hidden. We suggest that you follow the steps below to enable the Power option:

• Type quick actions in the search bar and click on Choose your quick actions.
• Click on Turn system icons on or off.
• Turn On the Power option.
  

If the issue persists, update the driver software.

• Go to device manager:
• Right click on: Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery
• Select: update driver software
• Click: search automatically

Adaptive Dimming

Thank you for providing your answer to the questions.

If that did not resolve your concern, follow the steps below:

• Go back to the first setting that you've tried (Refer to your screenshot).
• Under Dimmed display brightness, change the value of
  On battery and Plugged in option to "0".
• Click Apply and restart your computer.

Changing the value to "0" won't automatically reduce the display brightness of your computer.

Method 1

Disable the Adaptive Brightness to Fix Dim Screen in Windows 10

1. Click on Start, and then enter
   Power Options into the search field.
   
2. Select Power Options from the list
   
3. Click on Change plan settings link next to the already selected plan.
   
4. Click on Change advanced power settings link, and the Power Options window will appear.
   
5. Scroll down to the Display Brightness option, put 100% in
   On Battery and keep plugged in 100% as well.
   
6. Browse down to Dimmed Display Brightness, and do the same as mentioned in step 5.
   
7. Scroll down further to
   Enable adaptive brightness, and then put both On Battery and Plugged in to Off
   

Method 2

Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method battery is a driver that is responsible for the communication between your laptop battery and Windows system. We would recommend you not to uninstall the driver. However, since your
