Windows 10: Battery percentage is not accurate, I think.

Hello MS Team! I am very concerned that the battery is some have an error thingy. It's been happening since last week before we start online classes again. Btw, my laptop is an Acer Aspire 3 Windows 10 core i5. In the left picture, yes it's still 42% and sometimes it's until 50%; my battery 10% low battery light is already blinking but as I charge it... it turns off as if it's 0%. Then as I open it, I'll still be on the app that I was using before it shuts off but it's now 1%. I tried uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and restarted it, still encountering th

Battery Percentage Windows 10

It makes no sense to not have a battery percentage indicator on mouseover. Clicking on the icon to see the percentage leftover is an extra step I'd rather not take.

I an using Windows 10 on a Tablet. When I press the \/ iron on the top bar to show the battery life, it shows a full battery. When I press the battery icon on that screen, it indicates my battery is at 99%. However, 1) the battery icon on that sub-screen
shows some battery usage, and 2) the computer has been running for several hours, so I know I am well below 99%. Why are the two displays at variance, and how can I get the percentage to work properly again? Thank you,

Battery Percentage is not going

I'm Jin, a fellow Windows 10 user and an independent advisor.

I can see that plugging your laptop doesn't increase the percentage charged on the

battery.

Just to clarify, does charging stops at certain percentage or totally not charging the battery?

There's also a possibility the the power consumption is too much for it to actually charge the battery, try keeping your laptop idle for 10-15 mins and see if there's a progress in the battery.

If it stops charging on a certain percentage, try doing the steps below:

1. Right-click on the battery icon.

2. Select Power Options.

3. Click on Change plan settings.

4. Click on Change advanced power settings.

5. Click Restore plan defaults.

6. Then hit OK.

Check as well if there is an installed utility from the manufacturer that may limit the charging capacity of your laptop. This are common to new laptops to extend the life of it's battery.
