Windows 10: Battery percentage visualisation on taskbar and reduced task bar.

I am using Windows 11 on a tablet, although I like the battery icon on the right of the task bar, and I also like the leaf over it when using in battery economy mode, it is very difficult to guess the remaining battery from the icon specially when in battery saving mode because the leaf is placed over half the battery icon and when the battery goes down to less than 50% there is almost nothing visible of the white rectangle inside the battery icon that indicates an estimate of how much energy is still in the battery.It appears to have no easy way to display the battery percentage on the side

Hi Pete,

Windows 10 has a feature to personalize your task bar icons. To retrieve the missing battery icon on your taskbar, kindly follow the steps below:

• Right click on the taskbar and select Settings.
• Under Notification Area, click Turn system icons on or off.
• Look for Power and toggle Power to On. Your battery icon should appear in the system tray again.

My battery percentage icon is not appearing in the taskbar, and I am also unable to find where to fix it in my settings. Is there anyway that I can fix this problem?

 

Battery percentage on the task bar missing

When I upgraded to Windows 10, the battery percentage disappeared from the bottom right of my task bar. I found something that said to right click on the task bar, click properties, click "customize" next to "notification area", click "turn system icons
on or off" and then switch "Power" to the 'on' position, but 'on' is grey for that option and will not turn black or colorful. "Power" and "Location" are the only two options on this page that are greyed out and will not turn on. I don't care about location
being on, but I rely on the power indicator so I know when to charge my computer.
