    Battery power level 40/80 Windows 11


    How can I set the battery power level of my laptop running Windows 11, when plugged in, to a specified range e.g. 40%-80% in order to extend the battery power life? I could do that in Windows 10. Thanks.

    Alarm feature on battery charging (hitting 80%) and discharging (hitting 40%).

    Hi Arbaz,

    What is the make and model of the laptop?

    Perform the steps mentioned below and see if it helps.

    Navigate to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Power Options>Edit Plan Settings
    and select a power plan to edit. Scroll down the list of manageable options until you see the Battery option. Here you can enable an audio alert for when the battery reaches Critical level and for when it is low. The great thing is you can select just
    how much those levels are. Levels can be set for both when your system is plugged in and/or on battery.

    Please revert if the low battery settings does not work.

    "Battery critically low" (it's at 40-80%) then phone shuts down

    My lumia 535 has got a new problem. It has 40-80%battery level and suddenly it says battery critically low and shuts down automatically. Then keeps on restarting on its own.

    Battery level issue

    Hi Matt, Go to Control Panel - Power Options Click Power Plan Options on your Current Power Plan Click 'Change Advanced Power Settings In the resulting Dialog at the bottom of the list, expand the 'Batteries' section Change the value for Critical Battery
    Level and Low Battery Level Make sure Low Battery Notification is set to ON
