Windows 10: Battery Prencetage Issue.

I have HP ProBook 440 g3, since after update to windows 10, version 1803 I was noticing this issue, initially I thought it as battery hardware issue, but when I updating windows 10, version 1809, the problem automatically solved. But, due to display issues I reverted to update back to 1803 hence the issue came back, the issue is attached as picture for perfect understanding.


The batter percentage in 66 in the bigger view, while it is 67 in same one with cursor over it.

Laptop battery issue

I'm pretty sure the E1505 has "speed step" on it. Double checkthe speed step settings to make sure they are set for long battery life, maybe it's somehow reset itself?

I did check it out and already had it disabled so enabled and still no battery showing up in the bios. I guess I'll be taking it apart

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
