Windows 10: Battery Saver - Does it affects the speed of the Internet connection

Hello, so far no one has been able to give me a clear answer as to whether Windows Battery Saver the one that is turned on via the Taskbar affects the speed of the Internet connection. I know that the advanced settings of the Power Plan Chance Advanced Power Settings --> Wireless Adapter Settings affect the speed of the Internet connection... But I am interested purely and only in the Battery Saver available in the Power & Battery section. I'm not exactly sure why they said no but the wifi hardware can be tied into performance/battery saving as it will consume more battery if its allowed to use more voltage all the time even when doing nothing

That can potentially change link speed and thus change the speed you have on that computer.

You did say affect internet connection speed, and while it doesn't directly affect it, it does by affecting your networking connection speed with that computer which can affect the internet connection speed you see on that computer. Maybe they're going on some technicality.

You could of course simply try plugging the computer into the wall outlet (you should be able to) and that should tell you if its related to battery power settings if speed increases.

Wifi status will show link speed. So the link speed it has will determine the maximum speed possible. 5ghz wifi will have greater link speed than 2.4ghz. And 5ghz needs a strong signal to max it out. Etc. There's various other things.

Battery Saver and Power saving

Should i change power slide to better performance or best performance while gaming ? if i am not wrong, power saver on windows 7 reduced cpu speed and it was bad for games. BUT new power slide mode (battery saver, better battery, etc.) affects to computer
speed or game performance or it just close background apps ?
