    Battery working but Windows doesn't recognize it


    Good afternoon!

    I have a problem with a Lenovo THINKPAD L480 laptop running Windows 10 Pro, version 1909.

    Problem: The equipment does not detect the charger, but it does charge, so it is working fine. But in order to update the pc I need windows to recognize it.

    The port where it charges is USB type C

    Tests:

    -We change the charger to another plug (can't try another charger)

    -Run battery troubleshooter, find no problems

    -Reinstalled battery and power adapter drivers

    -Run sfc /scannow and DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    -I've tried to update the BIOS but I can't cause windows doesn't detect that I am connected to the current so it's no use.

    My next option is to reinstall windows but I didn't want to have to get to that point. Any ideas? I've gone through a lot of pages without finding anything.
