Windows 10: BattleNet launcher opens the Microsoft Store wanting me to use another launcher app to run?

When I launch BattleNet it opens the MS Store asking to install a different app to run this function!? BattleNet runs itself standalone without the help of any other app! My Windows 10 Pro machine never had XBox Gaming, why is this a continuous issue for you folks at MS? I don't use XBox garbage and have uninstalled it from my Win11Pro computer! It should not be allowed to have to be installed to run the games that you wish to play, that is called anti-trust! XBox Gaming app should not be pushed on folks that do not want it. Also, isn't this a similar issue you at MS had with the original Anti

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community. May we ask if what troubleshooting you have tried? We highly suggest you to try the steps below.

• Restart your phone.
• If the issue persists after restarting your phone, it only means that the default launcher is needed for any other launchers to work properly. Re-installing the default launcher should resolve the issue.

Once your Android phone is back on its default settings, re-install the Microsoft Launcher and your other apps.

Note: You can easily restore your Microsoft Launcher settings if you have performed a back up. To back up your Microsoft Launcher settings, please do the following:

1. Launch the Microsoft Launcher settings. (Tap and hold your phone's home screen and tap on the
   Launcher Settings.)
2. Tap Back up & Restore.
3. Tap Back up Microsoft Launcher option.
4. Confirm that the Back up to cloud storage option is selected.
5. Tap the Back up button.
6. Check the settings that you want to back up.
7. Tap the Back up now button.

You may restore your Microsoft Launcher back up after re-installing it.

If you can no longer re-install your phone's default launcher, please get in touch with its manufacturer for assistance on how you can reset it to its factory settings.

Problem with the minecraft launcher.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

There are many reasons why you can't log in to Minecraft Launcher, but all of them are due to Microsoft Store and related services. I will provide several methods to try to solve this problem, please refer to the following steps for operation:

• Clear the cache on Microsoft Store.
  

1. Press the Windows logo key + R, type wsreset.exe, and select OK.
   
2. After a few seconds a blank command prompt window will appear, which will disappear after about ten seconds and the Microsoft Store will open automatically.This means the cache was cleared successfully.
   

• Make sure you're using the Microsoft Store Install Service.
  

1. Services.msc can be found by pressing Windows Key + S and typing services.msc.
   
2. Locate and double-click the Microsoft Store Install Service; if the status is Running, right-click it and select Restart.
   
3. Change it to Automatic if it's disabled, then click Start and OK.
   

• Reinstall the Microsoft Store app
  

1. Press Windows key + X
   
   Click and Run Windows PowerShell(run as Administrator)Copy and paste the command below then hit Enter:
   
   

• Reinstall the Minecraft Launcher
  

1. Click Start >Settings >Apps，find "Minecraft Launcher" in all apps.
   
2. Click on the "Minecraft Launcher" Advanced options >Uninstall the application.
   
3. Open the Microsoft Store, search for "Minecraft Launcher", download and install it again, and log in to your account to see if it works.
