Windows 10: BayHubTech Integrated SD Controller(SDA Compliant Host)

My SD Host Controller is not working. I can't access SD cards.


In properties it says on Devide Status:

Запуск драйвера для этого устройства заблокирован, так как известно, что оно не может нормально работать под управлением Windows. Обратитесь к изготовителю для получения нового драйвера. (Код 48) (The driver for this device is blocked from running because it is known that it cannot run properly under Windows. Contact the manufacturer for a new driver. (Code 48))


I tried to uninstall and reinstall, apply drivers from SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller (when I do this, Windows says device is working properly, but no sd cards inserted are available), but the issue remains.

I checked the updates for this driver and it says it is up to date.


How can I solve this issue?

Hi Bill,

Try updating the driver through Device manager. To do so, follow the below steps:

• Right click on Start button and click on Device Manager.
• Locate the driver SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller.
• Right click on the driver and click on Update driver Software.

Or you can uninstall and re-install the driver to install the latest drivers.

• Right click on Start button and click on Device Manager.
• Locate the driver SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller.
• Right click on the driver and click on Uninstall.
• Now reboot the device to re-install the drivers.

can anyone help me to find and install an updated version of this driver:

I am using windows 10 on my Dell Inspiron 15 5555

 

Windows 10 on Dell E6330: "SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller" Microsoft driver doesn't work with O2Micro SD Reader PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_8221&SUBSYS_05331028&REV_05

I have fully updated Windows 10 on Dell E6330.

When Windows 10 was first installed, the card reader worked, but now after some updates, the card-reader is non-functional. Inserting an SD card accomplishes nothing and the system can't see its presence.

I notice that a Microsoft driver for the device shows in device manager as "SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller". Windows reports "The device is working properly" and "No conflicts" under resource settings.

The card reader's device instance path is as follows:

PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_8221&SUBSYS_05331028&REV_05\4&C9907B0&0&00E5

The card-reader device is reportedly O2Micro OZ600F/OZ900F hardware.

Any ideas on why this apparent Microsoft Driver would not be working?
