Windows 10: BCDEdit / EasyBCD question about "device" option

Hello. Trying find an official explanation of what a specific option does in EasyBCD and in extension to bcdedit, namely the "Device" option.

On one drive I have:

Windows Boot Loader
-------------------
identifier {some UUID}
device partition=C:

and on other drive I have :

Windows Boot Loader
-------------------
identifier {some other UUID}
device boot

I didn't find anywhere what "boot" exactly does vs. the obvious "partition=C:" option. I am intereseted in official source explanation. Thank you!

Program and Features screen shows that EasyBCD has been installed, but in the Start menu EasyBCD does not show up; similar situation in respect of HP ScanJet 200

• Are you facing this issue in local account or Microsoft account?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to find the “EasyBCD program”
in program files folder and you can pin it to start menu, check whether you can see it in start menu tiles bar.

• Press “Windows+E” and go to “This PC”.
• Click on “C” drive and click on “program files”.
• And check for “EasyBCD program”, right click on it.
• Then click on “Pin to Start” and check whether you can find the
  program is in start menu or not.

How to fix the bcdedit error "an error occurred while attmpting to delete the specified data element"

EasyBCD 2.3 - Can't Uninstall

I uninstall it every time after using it, that's not the problem. The thing is that it doesn't return everything to default and system stays as it was set in EasyBCD. Trick is to set what you want and than uninstall it.
