Windows 10: BD Rom drive region wont change

Discus and support BD Rom drive region wont change in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; My drive has been set to region 1 for some reason, i am trying to get it back to region 2.     BD Rom drive region wont change


    My drive has been set to region 1 for some reason, i am trying to get it back to region 2. The internet has no actual answers and i have 4 changes left still. The drive actually reads a region 1 dvd i have from years back so i know 100% that it just needs to be changed to region 2 but windows is rubbish. Could you please help me?For the ignorant, and speed readers:drive reads region 1 disk!     How to permanently delete a BD-Rom Drive?

    Hi Maypher, I am Paulo. I'm an Independent Advisor and an individual like you inclined to help.

    BD-ROM DRIVE means Blu-Ray Disk Read Only Memory Drive. This usually shows when you install a Virtual Drive using software like Daemon Tools, PowerISO, etc. to mount .ISO files and many other data formats. Do you use any virtual software? If so, you can use
    that to remove BD drives or you can follow these steps to disable in Device Manager

    1. Press Windows key + X

    2. Click Device Manager

    3. Expand CD/DVD ROM

    4. Right-click on the driver where it says something like "Virtual"

    5. Choose to disable

    DVD/CD Drive Saying CD-Rom

    My Dvd drive is listed in my device manager however it is set as cd rom in the description, it also wont open and is not set as my default drive, any suggestions?

    windows 10 if that changes anything
