    The Network connectivity in Standby setting in Power Options allows users to specify to enable (default), disable, or disable on lid close the network connection state in Standby.

    This tutorial will show you how to add or remove the Networking connectivity in Standby setting under Balanced in Power Options for all users in Windows 10.

    *Warning You must be signed in as an administrator to add or remove this setting in Power Options.


    CONTENTS:

    OPTION ONE [/i] Add or Remove "Networking connectivity in Standby" in Power Options using Command Prompt
    1. Open an elevated command prompt.

    2. Type the command below you want to use into the elevated command prompt, and press Enter.
    (Add)
    powercfg -attributes F15576E8-98B7-4186-B944-EAFA664402D9 -ATTRIB_HIDE

    OR

    (Remove - default)
    powercfg -attributes F15576E8-98B7-4186-B944-EAFA664402D9 +ATTRIB_HIDE
    3. You can now close the elevated command prompt if you like.





    OPTION TWO [/i] Add or Remove "Networking connectivity in Standby" in Power Options using REG file

    *note The downloaded .reg files below will modify the DWORD value in the registry key below.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\F15576E8-98B7-4186-B944-EAFA664402D9

    Attributes DWORD

    1 = Remove
    2 = Add


    1. Do step 2 (add) or step 3 (remove) below for what you would like to do.


    2. To Add "Networking connectivity in Standby" to Power Options
    A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 4 below.

    Add_Networking_connectivity_in_Standby_to_Power_Options.reg

    Download

    3. To Remove "Networking connectivity in Standby" from Power Options
    *note This is the default setting.
    A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 4 below.

    Remove_Networking_connectivity_in_Standby_from_Power_Options.reg

    Download
    4. Save the .reg file to your desktop.

    5. Double click/tap on the downloaded .reg file to merge it.

    6. When prompted, click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK to approve the merge.

    7. You can now delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.

    Method 1: Use the hardware troubleshooter to fix the issue

    The Hardware Troubleshooter is an automated tool which will check the hardware connected to the computer for any known issues with it and provides the details and on how to fix them. Follow these steps and run the troubleshooter.
    Follow these steps:

    • Press Windows key to get the Start menu.
    • Type Troubleshooting in the search box right up corner and hit enter.
    • Click on Troubleshooting tab.
    • Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
    • Select the power options from the list.
    • Click Next to run the power Troubleshooter.
    Method 2: Also I suggest you to create a new power plan and check if it helps.

    • Go to control panel and then click on power options.
    • Then click on create new power plan.
    • Change the power plan accordingly and check.

    About your concern with Windows 10 power options, applied settings may not be recognized due to several reasons. We suggest that you run the Windows 10 Power troubleshooter. Here are the steps to follow:

    • Go to Search, type troubleshoot, and click Troubleshooting.
    • Under System and Security, click Improve power usage.
    • The troubleshooting wizard will automatically start. It will try to solve any detected issues.

    • Go to
      Control Panel.

    • Select
      Network and Sharing Center.

    • Click on
      Internet options.

    • Choose
      Connections
      tab.

    • Click on
      LAN Settings.

    • Uncheck
      Use a Proxy server for your LAN.

      Apply, then
      OK.
