Windows 10: Beats Solo 3 Wireless Headphones- Cannot Enable Stereo Headphones, Only Option is Headset...

Windows 10 OSBeats Solo 3For some reason I can only select and get audio through the crappy Headset Hands Free AG setting.The stereo headphones don't appear as an option in the task bar, and in the Sound Control Panel it's grayed out and right clicking and connecting or enabling doesn't work.I've tried the following to no avail:1. Run CMD as administrator right click -> run as admin2. insert: "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" of course without " -> This will take some minutes3. After finishing DISM you will need to run "sfc /scannow" also without " in CMD also as ad

Thanks so much but it still did not help! My headphones are not showing up in the Bluetooth tab- they are not an option to connect them to this device. I need to know step by step how to connect my beats solo 3 headphones please.

 

Beats Headphones connect but not headset

I am trying to get my beats studio wireless headset to connect to my pc via bluetooth so I can make calls and talk to cortana.

I can connect the headphones (listen to music all day and adjust the volume without problems) but the hands free headset is not connecting via bluetooth so the microphone doesn't work.

When I go to sound settings, my default device is Beats Studio Stereo headphones BUT the Beats Studio Hands Free Headset is disconnected and will not connect.

I am able to connect my beats to my laptop (also running windows 10) and everything works perfectly. On my laptop, it shows both the headphones and headset (to use the microphone on the beats) as connected and I can listen to music and makes calls all day.

To assist you with the issue, you need to make sure that the default device is your Beats Wireless Solo headset. This should be done automatically once Beats Wireless Solo headset is already connected. To check and change it manually, right click the volume
icon and choose playback devices. You will see the available device that you can choose to play the sound of your laptop. If the device name is not on the list, that means it’s not yet connected.
